GO GO GEESE

Our Business GO GO Geese was created to help control the over population of Canadian geese in suburban areas. It is an important function of our company to develop a solid plan of action to help remove unwanted geese from your property. We have several different patrolling contracts available to best cater to your company's needs. What sets us apart from our competitors is that we have a true passion for what we do and our dogs are trained to an expert level. GO GO Geese is family-owned and operated right here in Waukesha, WI. Since our company opened, we’ve treated every customer like they were a part of our family. Other companies may offer similar services, but our services are the best, and come with a personal touch. We use highly trained Border Collies to haze and remove unwanted Canada Geese from airports, corporate parks, sports fields, nursing homes, apartment and condo complexes etc. Using border collies is the PETA approved method of geese removal. GO GO GEESE is certified with the National Wildlife Control Operators Association.

How does it work?  The border collies mimic the goose's natural predators the wolf and fox. Geese like to live in comfortable places often near water or open fields.  A single Canada goose eats 3-4 pounds of grass per day and can create as much as 2 – 3 pounds of waste per day!  These droppings are not only unsightly, they can also make people sick and bacteria like E. coli to our lakes and streams.  Geese can also be aggressive, especially if they have built a nest nearby, creating another risk to human health. It takes approximately 1 to 2 months of weekly hazing for the border collies to remove the geese from your property and lessen the likelihood of them returning the following year. Geese are bonded pairs meaning they have the same partner for life and they often return to the same place every year to have their babies. This means a flock can drastically increase in size over a year or two. Having the border collies on the geese makes them feel threatened and they will move to a different location where they don't feel threatened.

Our Dogs Why choose the border collie? The border collie mimics the natural predator the best out of any dog breed. Because the border collie gives their stock the famous border collie "eye" the geese feel as though their lives are in danger and they will relocate. Our dogs are trained to NEVER touch the birds. The Canada Geese is a federally protected bird and there are many standards and laws to adhere to when removing geese off of your property. GO GO GEESE STRICKLY

adheres to all laws regarding geese removal and hazing. Geese hazing is the number one method of removal approved my PETA. To see our dogs in action schedule a removal session so we can show you how are dogs work.

When will the geese go away? Every flock varies on resistance to relocate. Generally the longer the flock has been at a certain spot the longer it will take for them to be removed from the property. Also if you have tried other methods such as plastic swans, or wolf cut-outs the geese can also be a little more resistant to move as the previous threats have proven to be not threatening. It typically takes about two months of hazing three times a week twice a day to completely remove a flock. After we do an evaluation of your property we can better determine a hazing schedule that will remove the geese as fast as we can from your property.
